REVERSE OSMOSIS EQUIPMENT

Dirt, sediment, dissolved solids, viruses, organic molecules, pesticides and chlorine, are common water pollutants. Reverse osmosis is exceptionally effective (95% removal).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Reverse osmosis is a separation process originally developed by NASA. Water is passed through a semi-permeable membrane which catches dissolved solids. The PurGuard® RO passes incoming water through sediment and carbon pre-filters, then the reverse osmosis membrane and finally through a carbon post-filter. A fifth stage can be added for the removal of Arsenic. Maintenance is reduced to changing filters and a year's supply comes complete with the PurGuard® RO unit.

PurGuard® Reverse Osmosis units are compact and easily installed under the kitchen sink then distributes the purified water to the faucet and/or ice maker.
